My liver biopsy on November 21st came back as er-/pr- but IHC borderline for HER2. I just got the FISH result and it's positive, so everything is the same as the original tumor. My oncologist wants me to do Xeloda (instead of gemzar), but isn't sure if we'll do herceptin or tykerb with it. They tried me on tykerb last May and I developed a horrendous rash. I hope to know more on Monday. She says she's expecting a TDM1 trial (she's at UPenn) soon and the only way I can try to get in is if I've tried Xeloda first.

I had liver mets in May, and they're gone now.

It's scary, but it can turn out OK. Hang in there.
