two years out
i don't know what actually counts as two years out (because my tumor was diagnosed in august 09), but i always think of october being the marker because i started chemo in october (of course i'm a little late- it's november). either way, i'm just happy to come back here and report that i just had a mammogram last week and it came back A-OK. i just wanted to share here because a) i got so much information on this site and met a couple friends and b) i know newbies arrive quite scared, as i once did, and it's nice to see updates on an all clear. valerie

Re: two years out
It is always exciting to share a cancerversary as we are all so happy to hear this great news. From want I understand the days start to count as soon as you have surgery (I know some use the date of dx.) But the surgery marks the time you begin to treat yourself. So Happy Days...2.3Months.....now you are officially on your way to your 3rd year...wishing you many many more.
Keep posting those milestones we love it. Jean:) |
