Is there not anything we can do about all the spam messages we are getting? It is so disrespectful to all the work that Joe and Christine have put into this board. Is there any place to report this abuse?

Steps continue to be taken to minimize spammers, however as long as we are an open forum, we cannot totally eliminate them. By being open to all who may benefit from the site, we are also exposed to those who may choose to abuse the site.

Diligence by all in reporting objectionable posts will help moderators, who will act as quickly as possible to remove them.

You can report posts by clicking on the red triangle symbol under the user's name at the left hand side of the post.

Thank you for the instruction Sassy. That will help, hopefully.
I just feel badly for the newcomers who must be so eager to get replies, only to have them receive spam instead. It is so disrespectful to our purpose here.

Well - I got rid of all of last night's spam. There was ALOT. I wish those spammers had better things to do on a Saturday night.

The red triangle does not always appear on every post.
I will gladly participate if the triangle is there whenever i suspect spam.

Becky did a good job, but by midnight PST there were three or so more spam posts that I deleted.

It seems we need to be checking every few hours now, but we try and get them quickly - coast to coast every day and night of the week!
