Here's to hoping you are safe and your homes are out of harm's way! I see the wildfires are in the Austin area. Brenda, are you safe?

I am good... the closest fire is about 20 miles away. It is sooo sad. I have friends who are evacuated and don't know the status of their homes. But, we are soooo dry, that we never know if someone will throw their cigarette butt out the window and catch another neighborhood on fire, so we are on constant high alert...

Tough to live in the fear of fire or flooding (as we in the northeast are experiencing0. Really glad to hear you are ok out there, Brenda. Hoping our other Texas guys and gals are hanging tough, but of course being from Texas what more would we expect!
