Breast Cancer Action webinar on BRCA 1 and 2 patents
 

The webinar focuses on a federal appeal court's partial reversal of a lower court's ruling to invalidate patents of BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 genes by Myriad Genetics. The patents give the company exclusive right to all testing and research of these genes, which would not be good for breast cancer patients or for other cancer survivors in general.

Breast Cancer Action has joined the lawsuit against Myriad Genetics.
