Cancer support resources in the Boston area
 

Hi everyone,

My husband's uncle, a healthy, non-smoker, hiker, etc., was just diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer with bone mets (spine). I'd like to help his family as much as possible as he goes through treatment, such as with a food delivery program, house cleaning, and so on. He's fortunate in that his daughter and her husband are both MDs and are helping him navigate the medical world. Anything I could do for them to help them cope, please let me know.

My babysitter's husband's grandpa was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer early this year and unfortunately passed away last month. Understandably, we are all scared for my husband's uncle - the stats and prognosis figures out there are not very encouraging.
