Dandelion Tea and Fluid Retention

Has anyone tried Dandelion Root Tea for fluid retention? I purchased some today to try.

I have ongoing fluid retention at the moment- only have 3 more Herceptin treatments to go! I feel that it could be the Herceptin. However, being in "chemopause" and on Tamoxifen fluid retention can be common. I take B6 and evening Primrose oil, have reduced my sodium intake, however just feel like a big bloated blob!

( I have regular heart scans and there are no concerns. I just feel that the weight gain is all fluid...).

If I find dandelion works I will send a post.

Hi Blondie,

I don't have experience taking Dandelion Tea. But thought the following two links might interest you. Be sure to consult your oncologist/oncology nurse before you take any 'extra' stuff during chemo.
