5 years and counting
 

I can hardly believe it but it is now 5 years since my diagnosis of her2 breast cancer. In the first year I just wanted to get past chemo, radiation and herceptin. In the second year I felt I was holding my breath with each exam by my team of doctors. The third year I felt much more relaxed and that continued through the fourth year with even more mindful positveness that I beat this horrible disease. What a journey and it is far from over. Living and loving life as I never did before! Couldn't have done it without all of my supportive and caring her2 sisters. Hugs and kisses for that.

Thanks for posting this. My recent diagnosis is almost exactly the same as yours, including the size of the tumor. It was exactly what I needed to hear today. Congratulations! I expect to be in the same place five years from now.

congrats. Yeah. Love this. Celebrate all year long. My five years will be in august. Maybe I will come to chicago and celebrate with you chicago ladies then.
