generic arimidex

Yesterday my pharmacist told me there was a newly released generic for Arimidex. Has anyone heard of this? I forgot to ask her the name.

The generic name for Arimidex is "Anastrozole". Here's a link to a article about it if interested. There will be some savings on the generic...but not as much as I'd expect from reading this.

I get my Arimidex via a mail order pharmacy (Caremark) and get a 90 day supply. About a month ago, they sent me a letter that Arimidex is now available generically.
