Here's some information on joining an online recap of breast cancer information from the 2010 ASCO conference.

Upcoming Ask-the-Expert Conference: Updates From the 2010 ASCO
Annual Meeting

From June 4-8, 2010, advances in breast cancer research will be reported at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Chicago. New findings will be reported on breast cancer risk, screening, treatment, and more — including the latest news about:

triple-negative breast cancer
metastatic breast cancer treatments
circulating tumor cells
chemotherapy regimens
hormonal therapy
bisphosphonates
quality of life: sex and intimacy, fitness, healthy sleep, fatigue management

Join us as speaker Andrew Seidman, M.D., and moderator Beth Baughman DuPree, M.D., F.A.C.S., walk you through the latest updates.

Dr. Seidman is an attending physician for the Breast Cancer Medicine Service, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York. He is also an associate professor of medicine at Joan and Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Dr. DuPree serves as the medical director of the Breast Health Program at Holy Redeemer Health System in Meadowbrook, PA.

To join the conference, go to www.Breastcancer.org <http://www.breastcancer.org/> any time between 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday, June 10th, and click on the "Join Conference" button. No special software is required. A transcript of the conference will be posted on Breastcancer.org by June 17, 2010.

We can also sign up for a transcript if we are not available during the webcast. I think the transcript will also be published on www.breastcancer.org at a later date.
