Hilar lymph node/adenopathy?
 

Anyone familiar with the significance of enlarged/increased uptake in hilar lymph node with adenopathy?

I think the basic significance is the same as that of enlargement or uptake in any other lymph node. That is, an indication of spread or further spread.

After I had the lung RFA and inflammation set in, my hilar lymph node was lighting up on PET/CT. It was noted on the scan report, and my local oncologist was concerned. After the inflammation went down (except for the spot where the tumor had been and the fungal ball was growing), the hilar lymph node went back to looking normal.
