I know you know this, Soccermom - but it is worth saying for others who may not - Although they don't discuss it as part of this article really, one of the reasons (if not the main one at the time) that the issue of testing accuracy became a concern was because the researchers realized that if the testing results were not accurate then that could mean that the trials they do that are based on HER2 status, ER status and PR status could also result in drawing false conclusions from the trials and then applying that information in the decision-making process for treatment.
