Over 4 years and still NED
 

Just wanted to share some good news as I feel we need some every now and then, especially us stage IV'ers. My recent scans came out clean again as did my brain MRI. It's been over 4 years now that I was diagnosed stage IV, and I feel so blessed that I have continued to remain healthy after the initial bout. So, I'm off to live my life again and try not to worry too much until I have to do my scans again in 6 months..right around my birthday. I continue to say prayers for everyone on this board that we all will find a cure soon...sherryg

Hi Sherry, That is wonderful news! Big congratulations on being 4 yrs out and NED. Since I have now joined the stage IV club too...it's very encouraging to hear your good news right now. I see you even had your brain mri also...way to go...get them all done at the same time. So now you can relax for a while and try to enjoy yourself. Woo hoo!

By the way...your dogs are TOO cute! :) Absolutely adorable. I'm sure you don't spoil them rotten or anything...do you. lol

It is amazing how time flies, I remember reading your post over 2 years ago when you were just 2 years out and now you have passed the 4 year mark.

Treasure each and every day the way you did 2 years ago. This is the "gift" of cancer.
