Thank goodness and anyone else should also stay
with the original guidelines. Its probably just cost
related and things to come.

At the end of the news broadcast last night on NBC, it was noted that the National Cancer Institute also maintained their original guidelines. I quit watching when Dr. Susan Love started talking about women putting themselves at danger by having themselves "radiated" while having a mammogram. Even the termonology she was using seemed crafted to promote the "let's save money" theme that is being promoted.

Yeah, don't even get me started about Dr. Love. Now I am sad I will be missing SABCS and the fireworks which are bound to ensue regarding this issue and her misguided stance.

Great. Maybe since MD Anderson is a leader in the field other groups will follow MD Anderson's decision.
