Herceptin NED IV discussion and poll on portocol
Hi Guys,
I meant protocol! I’m doing a little study on us guys and gals who have been put on Herception only (at some point ) when NED, for more that a year. My question is when Herceptin treatment was made indefinite: Were you IV at first dx, became NED and stayed on Herceptin indefinitely? Were you I-III, had a reoccurrence and became a IV, successful treatment to NED then put on Herceptin indefinitely? I value this board and our knowledge and thank God for this place in space we have. I have an appt, and have to run.. I hope there is some kind of logic to what I just posted. I hope to be on later today. Love and hugs to all, |
Re: Herceptin NED IV discussion and poll on portocol
Hey girl!
I don't think it has anything to do with what's cooking in Washington. I think different places just have different policies based on the way they deal with the insurance companies. My friends at the center where I go that are IVs stay on herceptin forever, unless of course they progress and play with their treatment to stop progression. I'd dig a little deeper and see what's really up! ma |

Hey Mary Ann,
Thanks for the info on your friends that are IV at your center. My local onc said a IV would be on H forever. Thats the way I prefer to go, for now anyway. I see him in November. Thank you Mary Ann |
