CT Scan next week
 

It's that time again. Bummer!

I just came back from a Mexican Cruise that my husband gave me for my birthday. It feels great to be 40. We had a wonderful time and I definately felt cancer free in spirit.

Now back to reality and it's hitting me like a ton of bricks. I saw the onc today (sigh) I wish I was still in Mexico. :(

Also, it was a bittersweet homecoming as I learned my Uncle passed on while I was away. The funeral is tomorrow and my onc had originally scheduled the CT for today. I had to cancel as a CT scan and a funeral in one week is way too emotional for me.

I'll let you all know when the results come in.

First, your Mexican cruise sounds dreamy!! What a wonderful birthday gift and I am so happy that bc was on the back burner.

I am sorry to read the news of you uncle passing away. I don't blame you for cancelling the scan appt. You are right, too much for one week.

Praying for good results next week.

Tonya, I wish you could take not only you but all of us "back to your Mexican cruise"! 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years....would do wonders!
I'm so sorry about your uncle. Everything seems to take so much energy to deal with and especially something like losing someone we love.
I'll be praying for you about your scans. I hope they turn out just perfect and give you some very positive news.

So sorry to hear about your Uncle.....sending you positive wishes for a good report on your CT...seems like sometimes we get a little gift, and then the reality of life hits us again...focus on the positive aspects of your trip, your memories of your Uncle and a good clean CT.
