Do we need a nutrition forum PART 2...***JOE***
I emailed Diana Dyer and this was the response I got as WELL as an interesting article on her blog about Her2. ALSO Joe, can I give her YOUR email address?
Rhonda, Thank you for visiting my web site. I agree with the recommendation to have an RD (preferrably one certified in oncology nutrition - CSO) available to moderate a nutrition forum. I cannot do this but if you would like me to, I could put out a query to the listserv of oncology dietitians throughout the country and hopefully someone else would be interested. Who should I list as the contact name/email? Hope you saw the recent post on my blog about CLA and her2/neu breast cancer. http://www.dianadyer.com/2009/08/my-...on-cla-in.html Diana Dyer -------- Diana Grant Dyer, MS, RD - Author A Dietitian's Cancer Story (English and Spanish editions) Available from all bookstores, Amazon.com, and AICR (1-800-843-8114) Web site: www.CancerRD.com Blogs: www.DianaDyer.com, www.365DaysofKale.com, and www.cancervictorygardens.blogspot.com "Information and Inspiration for Cancer Survivors" Proceeds donated to the Diana Dyer Cancer Survivors' Nutrition and Cancer Research Endowment at the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR)] |

Re: Do we need a nutrition forum PART 2...***JOE***
I really want the nutrition forum too, so if we can't find help through Diana Dyer, maybe we should ask someone on Dr. Kenneth Block's nutrition staff or from one of the hospitals where they offer nutrition services during cancer treatment like M. D. Anderson or Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Another choice might be Patrick Quillin Ph.D. RD. GNS. who has written several books about nutrition and cancer.

Re: Do we need a nutrition forum PART 2...***JOE***
I agree and definitely would like this forum. I think there is stil so much we don't understand about the biochemical effect of food on our body and bc that sharing what might be helpful has got to be a bonus
