Hey Ed and Marie, I love you both. Have Faith in Him.
1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." |

Hello My Chickadees! I have been very sad lately and having boughts with severe anxiety. My hands are kind of tied right now as far as his journey goes, so I decided to burn off that anxiety and sadness by cleaning the house room by room. I strategically arranged the bedroom for his complete comfort if that time comes. I nonchalantly placed pictures at an eyes glance, moved some things down or within reach, types of things that would make his immediate future more comfortable. The music room was hard to clean, especially because this room was always full of music and beauty and now it is deafeningly silent. I made it through though, I remembered the songs he wrote and the special music we listened to. I remembered every tear from every touching piece of music I ever heard here. Times like this overwhelm me.
Well friends, this post made me smile and I feel so wonderful to be loved and appreciated so. I must admit, I peeked every day and although I did not reply too much, I do not stray far! (lol) We have an appointment with the OncoMan on Wednesday. He will not be happy! Ed was supposed to get a bone scan, brain MRI, and catscan and has not done a thing. He is still recovering from the last treatment on June 26th. If I have to I will pull down Ed's pants to show the doctor just how damn skinny he is and that he just did not have it in him to do the tests. Of course, these tests were supposed to help us to plan the next actions. I feel like we are behind, I feel like a bomb is ticking! But I am here and so is the Mighty Oak! We are still counting our blessings and begging for a miracle.>>Believe51 |
Marie,
I check for news bout you and Ed often. I wish the best for you two this week. In my prayers, 'lizbeth |
Whatever would we do without a house to clean. We lost our precious mother-in-law last thursday and once more we must grieve and start anew. But each day brings the sunshine inspite of our sadness. But I too have been cleaning and pacing. But there is such a great difference in my situation. Margaret went gladly to join her heavenly family. Ed has so many more songs to sing and so many more smiles to deliver to his special girl!
Much love to you and may your sadness be lightened with some special joy today. ma |
Marie, I am so sorry to hear of your anxiety though I understand it completely. You are climbing a rough and rugged mountain with Ed right now and sometimes it seems as we fall one step back with each movement. But in reality you are moving forward steadily and safely and bathed in love. I can hear you and Ed singing from here and the words and meloday bring tears to my eyes...tears of compassion and empathy and uncompromised love.
I love you, Vickie |
Dear Marie - As I always say - Spring cleaning is an all year project! Are you sure YOU did not take the steroids by mistake??
Truthfully, we all know how easy it is to get behind and allow the clutter to build up when we have major distractions. If this rearranging is theraputic, then have at it. Especially if it makes things easier for you and Mighty Oak to function in your enviroment. The satisfaction from the effort is well worth the energy spent. Waiting for Oncoman's thoughts later this week. Smothering you in cyberhugs! |
crossing my fingers and saying lots of extra prayers for wednesday!!!!

Thank you for the update, Marie. Good luck on Wed. with oncoman. xo Suzan
