Go to the PLoS One website (google it) and find link to let your legislator know you find this intolerable.

Your taxes funded the research, why can't you access it for free?

Sorry for getting political, but for me this is a no-brainer!

Knowledge is ammunition and you have already paid for these bullets and canonballs, but cannot get in the armory to retrieve them!
