AVON Foundation Awards $750,000 To Lombardi Cancer Center And The Capital Breast Care
 

What: Georgetown's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and Capital Breast Care Center has been awarded $750,000 for its mission of providing breast cancer screening to underserved women at the annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Washington, DC. This is the second year the AVON Foundation has recognized the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Capital Breast Care Center to their dedication to breast cancer prevention and research.
