Home from the doctor
Well, I'm home after a grueling day at the doctors. A lot of time sitting around waiting for blood work, etc.
The procedure was not too bad. I was shocked when the doctor showed me 7 centimeters of fuild on the ultra-scan. I doubt that is considered a moderate pleural effusion. 850ml was drained from my right lung lining. That seems like an awful lot to me. A guess my left lung was doing a good job compensating for the right and so I had no SOB. A little glimmer of hope - The doctor thought the liquid looked a clear straw color. If it is darker than that is more worrisome. We shall see. |
Gosh, Tonya, that does seem like a lot, but here's to it turning out to be good with the testing. I'm so glad the day was ok. Surely thought about you today! It was so good to get on line and find out that it is all done. How long will the results take?
I'm praying for perfect results for ya! Much love to you, ma |
All my fingers and toes are crossed. Plus lots of prayers too.

Thanks, Mary Anne. Results in three to five days.

Yipidy Do Da Tonya. I thought of you all day and great thoughts at that. I think this would be a 'big' glimmer of hope if you ask me. Still saying my prayers, those have never stopped since I met you. Try to relax while waiting for the results and do something special for yourself. I'll be waiting for those wonderful results right along with you.>>Believe51

Please let us know the results when you get them but, in the meantime, we will be surrounding you with extra love and compassion and sisterhood. Sending you a big hug right now. Love, Vickie |

Tonya, I'll be prayin' each of those 3 - 5 days that the results are good and the news wonderful! Sometimes when I have tests, I wish the results were immediate and other times I wish that it took days just so I can prepare my goofy mind. Oh, how our minds dance around with waiting! Lots of love and peaceful thoughts headed your way. ma
