Update on BI TEST
 

Update on BT blood test.
I got in touch with the Provista and spoke with the President who informed that the Biomarket blood test was geared for women who did not have a dx. of bc.
But - he advised me to speak with one of the dr. from the lab. I spoke with Dr. Corn who shared with them that the test was not geared as a tool for those who already had a dx. of bc. but this blood test may be of interest to those who have family memebers /daughters/friends...

I then asked Dr. Corn have they done any studies on women who were early stage bc patients to follow them to see if this test would have any value to them as a tool.
She was interested in starting a study. So I am receiving a scirpt from her to have the Blood test done and we will see what those results will be. She warned me if it came back high that it would not indicate that I now have a recurrence... only that like Hepititus B the blood test could be incorrect. If it came back low it would then prove to be a monoriting tool for those who were NED
along with those who never had BC.
