Update on me and continued frustration.

I'm back and my doctor will not schedule a chemo treatment until he hears what Chicago said - so now I am working on that.....I continue to be very frustrated as time is important. So, many calls later and sitting and waiting for the phone to ring, here I am. I would have settled for a "tentative" appointment time/day based on them getting info.

Needless to say I wish I lived where there are much better doctors etc.

Also, just in case someone might like this type of activity or already has done this. If anyone out there is in the mood for research or knows anything about where they are doing a really great job of Radiofrequency Ablation I am still very interested in pursuing this as a possible "back up" treatment and very willing to go "out on the edge" to get it if necessary after reading the article about it. I would fly/stay anywhere.

Although I am not familiar with this treatment, I am sure there are some on the site who probably are. Hang in there. I am sure the answer is just around the corner.

I don't know much about the treatment you are interested in, but if I were in your situation I would try to get a second opinion. I don't like waiting either.

Hi Barb -
Are you looking at RFA for your lung?
If aso, Joan in New York had it done.

I am sure that some of the members also had it in their liver.

I hope your onc will start to treat you pronto!

Yes, I am looking into RFA into my lung and want to hear about it. I will try and get ahold of Joan in NY - thanks!

Dear Barb, I too am sending prayers for you. You are so brave and you know, before my dx, I never really understood the term battle associated with cancer. But I can see how much work, research and perseverence it takes. I think you have it in you to win this and you will. I pray for you.

love,
shobha
