Just wanted to update everyone on my progress and offer some encouragement...

I just had my 13th treatment today of Herceptin/DM1
I saw my onc. yesterday for all of my scan results and they still can not find any tumors. Remember I had about 16 last June. He is so surprised and happy . My CEA is down in the normal range - 3.4

I am almost afraid to say it outloud for fear I might be dreaming. But so far so good.

I was told that there are more trials out there coming soon. So there is alot stirring for Her2 patients.

Wow. What great results! I am very happy for you. What's even better is that this treatment tends to be easier on patients than chemo + an anti Her2 drug. And that's good because you sure have had your fill of chemo. What a warrior you are and a brave hero.

I am so happy to hear of your good news. How long are you to take these treatments. I really need to read up on this more, so I can ask my oncologist if he has any patients participating in this trial. It's good to hear theres more on the horizon too...congrats..sherryg683
