Scientists Identify Gene Linked To Spread Of Breast Cancer
 
A newly identified gene, called metadherin, might cause breast cancer tumors to spread and become resistant to chemotherapy, according to a study published Tuesday in the journal Cancer Cell, the Baltimore Sun reports.
