switching - experience with Avastin/Abraxane
 

Caryn's Onc has agreed to try Abraxane rather than Taxol. Has anyone had any experience with this combo?

I have a friend here who was fighting stubborn lymph nodes and some bone mets. She was put on that combo and did well against the mets. Only thing was her blood pressure went a little crazy and took about a year to resolve this problem. They say it is the Avastin that causes that.
