Miracles Do Happen
 

Many of you probably remember over the years i have asked for prayers for my little grandaughter Jasmine...she has fought for life many times, and had more surgeries and procedures than I could list...at birth, she was given a slim chance to live to see one, up until a year and a half ago, she had never drank, eaten (feeding tube only and a port) been on oxygen 24 hrs a day, never walked, never slept lying down, but a wonderful Dr. in Chicago took a chance on helping her, and though she requires surgery every few months on her spine, she is now in school full time, walks on her own, eats everything, no longer needs oxygen and has had her feeding tube and port removed..she is very tiny, wears a 4T. Never give up hope, ...yes miracles do happen...Jasmine, my little miracle turned 12 today!!!!

Hi Shelia, That is wonderful news...her story brought tears to my eyes. Bless that doctor that decided to help her. Jasmine truly is a miracle. Thanks for sharing that, it made my day. :) Here's to Jasmine having a fantastic Birthday and many more to come.

What an amazing story. She is one amazing young girl who is definitely surrounded by many loving people. The doctor sounds like he is a miracle worker. Too bad we couldn't duplicate doctors like him.

My Grandaughter Jasmine....Who would believe she would experience her 1st Halloween@ age 9? She even got to go without the oxygen for a few minutes....miracles do happen! Seen with her little sis Jessica age 7..Jasmine is a ladybug, Jess is a cat who forgot her ears...I had so much fun making the outfits for her 1st Halloween.
