She's doing okay. Losing her hair on Taxol! I didn't! So we are going bald at the same time. I have 2 more FEC, then RADs. She will finish her Taxol in November, then go on FEC then RADS. Funny her regimen is exactly the same as mine even tho she is ES/PR+ & Her2-.

How can I say this without sounding dumb.......my first though was "what fun" and "how lucky you 2 are to be in this together" NOW, that being said....I don't mean breast cancer is fun and I also don't mean that you 2 are lucky that you both get to have breast cancer. I think you know what I mean....I hope you do. Just that if you 2 were going to get it - I guess - being close and loving one another - helps the process???? Something like that I mean. Love the picture.......and happy you were both able to participate. Mary Jo |

Marejo, I know exactly what you mean! To tell you the truth, it is pretty surreal. We live together in a big house, and it's very strange to see us both going bald together. I can't explain it. My mom says it's ridiculous how much we have to do things "together". She said "this is going too far"!!! :D |

Great pictures!!! I am quite close to my sister, who is 1 year younger than me. I sure hope that she doesn't have to go through what I did! I know what Marejo means when she said that you are lucky to have each other!!!

What a great picture of you 2....Are you sure you're not Playboy Bunnies???? Anyway, sorry that you both have to deal with this, but how lucky you are to have each other for strength....I have 2 sisters, one is so very supportive, the other one is very oblivious to what this BC ordeal is...maybe she is scared, I don't no. Anyway, you are a great role model for anyone, especially your sister. |
