To each his own, I suppose. This reminds me of a conversation I had with an acquaintance 2 years ago after she chose alternative treatment over oncological treatment. She said "I went to Dr. Soandso, and did his method for 3 months and I am completely cancer free. I think you should try it." I listened very intently, and then asked "Do your scans still show you are clear?" - to which she replied "...well I haven't gone for any scans, I can just tell I don't have any cancer in my body." I said "wow, that's great. I am so happy for you."

16 months later she passed away from stage IV liver, and lung mets.

Let's face it: If he really had the power to cure then he would not need to ask for money upfront!!!!!! Money would just come to him..

I beleive that desperation brings people to these places..and people want to beleive so it is easy to manipulate them in these difficult time.. sad side of humanity if you ask me..
