well sorta! i'm a little behind on getting my check-up but last week i had my mammo and today i saw rad onc. i now don't have to go back for 1 year for a mammo or to see the rad onc. i am so happy. now to see my onc and get the same thing hopefully.

Great news. How often will your med onc see you? Mine wouldn't let me out of his sight - said every three months until the cows come home (or 7 years minimum).

Of course I had recurrence 14 months later and have seen him at least once a month for the last 4 years, but that's ok, because I LOVE him. We are good friends.

That's great news, Juanita, but of course you're NOT "free"...you still have to stay here to keep Lee and Bill on their toes!
(not to mention the rest of us)

But I give you permission to celebrate for now!
