Nevalbine - Neuropathy?

I started Nevalbine on Monday and have been doing ok. A little queasy on Wed, but nothing bad. I have noticed however that my fingertips feel numb the last few days. Is this normal?

Thanks for the input.

Avoid extreme heat and cold...or you could ask fro a script for neurontin for the neuropathy...it helps!

Yes, neuropathy can be a problem. A few things you can try before neuorontin.

1. Take 50 mg of B6 once a day
2. Take 5 mg of Glutamine 3 times per day

I have had neuropathy numerous times and these two supplements have helped to greatly reduce the discomfort. I also very successfully used accupuncture for my feet.

Make sure to tell your onc about this side effect. They should follow it and think about dose reduction if it gets bad.

Good luck!
