~Best Drug To Prevent BRAIN SWELLING??~
For some reason Ed is extremely tired/dizzy with the prescription of Decadron (generic for some reason). We know he needs this but I am open to suggestions about what else he could potentially take that would make the same difference. He has no symptoms with these brain mets so I highly doubt that it IS the brain!
He has taken Decadron on and off for the last two years with little problems, unless you consider not being able to sleep for days, he needed this though because he was so ill. Of course it was used when he was in treatment, so it gets hard to know where the line stopped and started. Any suggestions would help. Thanks>>Believe51 |
A small amount of Zanax (1/4 tab of a .5 tab) combined with mine helped me greatly. Hopefully, the zapping will reduce his symptoms within a few days.

it is imperative that he take the decadron....to prevent swelling...the Xanax will make him sleepier.....I would call before you add anything since the surgery is tomorrow....don't add aspirin or motrin or advil....(due to bleeding complications) |
Recap
Just wanted to say that this fatigue was caused by a brain met in the "sleep center". He was sleeping almost all day long (oh I missed him). Of course he never achieved REM sleep through this, thus the constant sleeping.>>Believe51
