Dear Friends:
I think it is important to honor those individuals who give the most time, effort, and a bit of themselves to the community. Hopefully, this will encourage a sense of community spirit and make this forum a better place to visit. I hope reaching 1000 or 2000 posts will never be a competition. A competition for most posts would certainly detract from the important mission of this support group. I would like to continue to honor individuals who reach a milestone number of posts as a tribute to their commitment and effort, but if the honorary threads get in the way of the important work that is done here, then perhaps the forum needs to have a discussion about some policy. Maybe I'm not even the right person to bring this up. Forgive me if I overstepped my bounds. Lee |

I agree with you they should be honored. One way we do it is that of the top ten posters including myself, seven of them have accompanied us to the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium. Although it is a very important breast cancer meeting, we also have lots of fun. Regards Joe |

However I know some of the JOIN DATES are inaccurate. For instance I know that I became active on this site at the end of 2003. AND I KNOW that Sandy H was already here sending good info and "hugs" to everyone before that, so the 2005 date for her must be wrong. Seems that Sheila and I started posting around the same time. So, I am not sure how my date gets up to 2004, but I do recall having to re-register more than once for various reasons. |

You know, all the info I received about spray cheese still has
me wondering....... I don't know if you guys were always serious. I haven't always lived in the dense wilderness surrounded by lakes, trees, blueberries and wild animals. I lived in civilization for a few years - in a city close to Toronto. That's where I did my keg partying. You went into the washroom and the keg was in the bathtub, surrounded by ice. There was never any spray cheese or cheese of any kind. Are you telling me the truth Sheila???? |

Some of the join dates (mine included) are wrong because many of us had to rejoin in Sept 2005 because Joe switched servers or something and he did say it might happen to some of us (hence some of us "old timers" all have a Sept 2005 join date because they "lost" us. If we were lost then, our original post number restarted too. For example if pre Sept 2005 I had 100 posts, I restarted when I had to rejoin.) I remember Lolly was preserved in full but not Sandy or me or others.
Just wanted to mention that this happened. |
