Hormone drug increases stroke risk in women
Treatment with tibolone, a drug with hormone-like effects, reducesthe risk of fractures and the risk of breast and colon cancer inpostmenopausal women with osteoporosis, but also seems to increasethe risk of stroke, according to the results of the Long-TermIntervention on Fractures with Tibolone (LIFT) trial.
