After weeks and weeks of negotiations with my medical team and trial coordinator, I finally got the go ahead to take a (wait for it) 2 WEEK VACATION!

Of course, that involves starting at 5am, racing tomorrow to UCSF then finding my way to SF airport (all on public transport)...before flying all the way to the OTHER coast where I will spend a week alternately sitting on the beach and flinging myself into the ocean.

Then spending the following week touristing in the Virginia and DC area with my hubby.

Nothing comes without a price of course, Monday the 18th I have labs, echo, Pet/CT and office visit! At least I can sleep in the PET scanner...

So I trust all of you to behave yourselves, hug one another regularly, eat ONLY good chocolate and still be here when I get back!

Oh geez....I better start packing!

Have an absolutely fantastic time. Do me a favor and go to the Spy Museum in DC. Tell me how it is... (my dad was a spy/spy-catcher, so I really want to go!)

Chrisy, I am so happy to hear you get to sneak away and enjoy two wonderul weeks of vacation. You certainly deserve this...you've had more then your share lately so I think this comes at a good time. :) I truly am excited for you.

We will all try to behave while your gone but I can't promise anything. Ha! Here's to you having the time of your life. You and hubby enjoy yourselves!!! That's an order.

Have you found a secret "Miraval" on a large body of water??? And less expensive? I could use a dip or two where the water is not as c-c-c-cold as the Puget Sound or Lake Washington.

Take your sun block and don't forget to use it ...
