Scan results
Just got a call from my oncologist. I had my PET scans done yesterday and he called to tell me that everything was fine, that all was still clear. Now I can go out and have a good weekend. My hubby and I are going to Houston to see George Michael in concert. The last time I saw my Oncologist I was upset with him about the way he handled the incident with the MRI. I told him for the first time ever since I had been going to him, I felt like I was being ignored. I guess he felt guilty and called me personally. So I am good to go for another 6 months. I get so stressed around scan time and then it's like such a relief and high when things come back normal....halelluyah!!!...sherryg683

Thanks all. There's one thing I've learned through this and it's to be active in your treatment. I am surprised when I go to get my Herceptin and I talk with other patients near me, some of them have absolutely no idea of what drugs they are even taking. They just do what their doctors say. My doctor once made the remark that I knew as much as he did about chemos and was just going to let me tell him what to do next. He was joking of course but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have found that doctors have many patients and I am darned determined to help him take care of at least one of them...me...sherryg683
