port finally out!
 

Hello to all my Her2 friends. I just got back from getting my port out! I feel like I have finally kicked cancer in the face! To all you ladies who still have yours, your day will come. Bless you all!!!

I got my port out a week after my last Herceptin treatment. My oncologist suggested getting it out as soon as I could and, I can tell you, it was a very big deal for me. There are a lot of things about having cancer that were bad- but I really didn't like that port at all!! Congratulations. I remember this feeling well.
