I got my new Muga Scan results
My Muga scan 6 weeks ago was only 47, the doctor decided to give me 2 more treatments and then repeat the Muga scan - if the Muga scan did not get up to 50 they were going to cut off treatments.
I started working out (mostly on an elipitical) right before my last treatment. I also started to take COQ10 a few weeks ago. My new Muga scan went up to 52, this was inspite of having two more of the 3 week treatments. Needless to say - I am extremely happy with the result. :) |
That's wonderful! I guess exercising is the trick. Wish I had known it earlier. My husband bugged me about it, but I just didn't have the energy after working whole day in school. I am writing it here so more people can see your posting.

I'm happy to hear about your Muga!

I realize that a person who is still on chemo would have a hard time doing an exercise routine - but for those who are done with chemo and whose MUGA is dropping - I highly recommend it. My doctor and infusion nurses were very surprised by the results.
