PET/CT results today...
Since DX back on 12-05 I have always had my PET/CT scans every 6 months since I'm a stage III'er with positive nodes and no rads. I don't like exposing myself to the scans but It gives me piece of mind. I know some women are the total opposite and rather not have to deal with the anxiety unless they have symptoms. (I don't know how they do it? I admire them.)
This is the 1st time since my DX's that I went a whole year to have my PET/CT and I must say it drove me nuts waiting that extra amount of time. I was like a cat on a hot tin roof! I had my PET/CT this last Monday and got the results today and thank God literally, I got the all clear. Big sigh of relief. I'm just sharing a little positive news...just couldn't keep it to myself. I've had alot going on in my life right now so this couldn't of came at better time. It made my day and then some. :) Chelee |
And it made my day too!

Chelee,
We love gread news! Congrats! Ruth |
Congrats on the clean scan, I have just graduated from 3 month scans to every 6 months and it is hard doing that. I am at the 3month point now and the scan itch is beginning to happen. Yes, it is hard doing them, but I also like having the peace of mind knowing. I've got 3 more months before scans and it seems like forever, I can't imagine waiting a whole year. ..sherryg683

Great picture!
Dear Marejo:
What a great picture, is your son wearing a Red Wings jersey? My husband and I are die hard fans of the Wings. Husband is from Grand Blanc, born in Flint, because there was no hospital in Grand Blanc...62 years ago!!! Small town indeed, there were barely 900 people in his hometown.. Hugs... |
