scans showed shrinkage
 

Just thought I would update you on my treatment. I am currently on TCH. I have my 4th cycle on Tuesday. So far I am tolerating it very well. I had a CT scan and the mass has gotten smaller. The Dr. said I am having a good response and to keep going. I did have an allergic reaction to the carboplatin during my last treatment. I had this combo 4 years ago with no allergy. I am still going to get this drug on Tuesday. I hope I don't have any reactions. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for listening. Sally

Is it the skin met that's shrinking? Thank you for sharing the good news.

Tell them to infuse super slow and see if that helps. It surely did help me.

Jackie, No I don't have skin mets. I have a large mass in my lower abdomin. The Dr. said it was as big as his hand. Kind of the same shape and thickness also. Sally

Sally, I have thought of you lots and wondered how you are doing. So glad the chemo is shrinking the tumor. That is great news! Glad the treatment is not too hard on you, except for the allergic reaction. Hopefully your onc will figure out a way for that to not happen again. Best wishes to you dear sister.
