Post remission after 7 years of chemo :)

Hi Everyone,

Sorry it has been so long in keeping you updated on my progress.

I started Tykerb/Abraxane last november and pet/ct scans show no new tumors and the 20+ that grew while on tykerb/Xeloda trial last year are very small and I can FINALLY say after fighting with breast cancer for 7 years that I am "POST REMISSION". Hope it stays that way for at least 6 months! That would make me happy.

I will continue on this combo until it is no longer effective!

Just wanted to let everyone know how I am doing and that I will be back visiting the site more often.

Thanks for your support!!
Betty

Betty, You've been through more then your share and you certainly deserve some good news. I'm so glad this combo is working so well for you. Here's to you getting much more then the six months. I hope you get something totally un-expected and can get to be totally ned. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for checking in...keep us updated.

Betty, Great news. I haven't been on the broad for about a week because I've been very busy lately, so just catching up.
