Verdict in Xeloda/Tykerb
 

Well Ladies the verdict is in xeloda/tykerb didnt do it for me. Pet scan showed no change in lung nodule and lymph node size increased and a new node lit up so we try something else . Onc still has me on tykerb but no Xeloda . He's regrouping and is going to give me some options this week. Im considering going to tulsa to Cancer treatment Center of America anyone with any info about the center I would greatly appreciate it thanks. Denise

You might consider Navelbine, some folks here have had good success with that for lung met. There are lot of options, and I think it is a good thing that your single lung met is stable.

Is he giving up on Tykerb totally? or will he consider adding a different chemo to the Tykerb?

Im not sure what he has instore for me yet if I know him he is collecting info and looking at study groups and such. I have a wonderful onc. . I am anxious to hear from him this week so I"ll keep you posted.
