latest scan results
 

I just had pet/ct scan yesterday after 2 months of stopping Navelbine. The scan makes me little worried as it shows muliple small mediastinal lymph nodes with mild FDG uptake. Originally in august I had these nodes intensely litup in the pet and with one month of navelbine and herceptin they totally disappeared. My onc said nothing to be concerned and she wants to do another scan in two months. I am just on weekly herceptin. Anybody has any clue or experience with mild uptake?

I would hope if your onc. thought it was something, they would have talked about restarting the Navelbine, or a different chemo....maybe the Dr wants to make sure as there is an error of margin if these nodes are tiny....it could be the person reading the scan....even that can cause a difference in the reading, I have found that in my own scans...keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that it is nothing to worry about....
