Congestion & Herceptin ???
 

I had my 8th Herceptin treatment on 12/03 and finished 28 rad treatments on 12/05. Since then I have a congested cough whenever I am laying down. Originally there was a terrible metallic taste when I coughed. My bone scan was ok last month. My breathing is normal otherwise. I don't see the dr till 12/26; thought I would ask is anyone had this experience with Herceptin?

Lumpectomy 11/2006
A/C - 4 cycles
Taxol - 4 cycles
Herceptin - 8 cycles to date (every 3 weeks/60 min.)
Radiation - 28 treatments

I did have metal flavored burps during AC/TH. Not so much during just H. Congetion, drippy nose etc. are very common. Hit search above. There is a long running thread, "Herceptin side effects, real or perceived" You should find what you need there. Bev
