Confused...please clarify!!
Hello Sisters and Brothers, Please explain what is going on to me! Have not been on board too much this month due to surgery, infection, and anemia, but am bouncing back...I respect Andi and her views, whether or not I agree with all of them isn't the point. She is a fine role model and has ENDURED so much I feel we can learn from her. Also, has Marejo left the board..really? I also enjoy her posts and pray not. Please, we all have one common enemy and you know what that is so let's not fight among each other.....on another issue, when did gals start driving after mastectomy surgery?? My surgeon says I can now, but no lifting, pulling for 6-8 weeks or my scar line wil "talk back to me!" Thanks, Ceesun

what's going on?
Hi Ceese
I will PM you about all the "happenings" that you missed. I don't want to get anything "stirred up" again. It's nice to have you back on the board. I hope you are doing well after your surgery. As for driving, I think that will be up to you... if you think you can do it. My mastectomy was on the right side, and although I am a leftie, I use my right arm for driving. I just waited until the pain was manageable and I felt okay to drive. Maybe you can take a practice-run in your neighbourhood and see how it goes. |
HI Ceesun - will let Pink take the lead, as I missed the thread in question.
My surgeon didn't want me driving for at least a month after my surgery... and same as you, not lifting anything for 6-8 weeks. |
Ceesun,
My surgeon told me that I could drive when I felt comfortable doing it. I was behind the wheel about 3 weeks after surgery. MareJo she did not leave the board as I still see her posts. As for what happened I think we should just let sleeping dogs lay. As you say we are all in this fight together. |
