How many GRAYS--rads ?
 

Hey, there!

I started radiation last week. I HATE it more than chemo. My question is this: does anyone know how many grays are typically given over a 6-week period? I asked how many I was getting today, and they said 200 grays at each treatment?!? Does that even seem correct? I saw it on my chart, and even asked twice.

I can't find anything online that tells me anything close to this--most say 50-100 grays over the entire period, which would mean it is broken down by the number of days...

Please, HELP!
