need prayers for my son-in-law
My son-in-law had surgery last week for melanoma on his back and foot. They also biopsied a lypmh node in the groin area. They got the path report back today and there was cancer in the lymph node. My daughter is devestated. She is still trying to comprehend my having cancer and now her husband. He is only 35 and they have two small boys age 4 and 5. My heart just aches for them. This news was worse for me than when I recieved my diagnosis. Please pray for them. I am off to Pennsylvania this weekend to try and console and counsel them. I must hang on to my faith, but today I am really struggling. Thanks for letting me ramble.

Dear Debbie
And just after the all clear for you. You are strong and will be able to help your daughter and her family through this hurdle. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry. |
Debbie, I'm keeping your family in my prayers. Melanoma is a tough one, but recent trials have shown some good responses to immune therapies. Hopefully their onc can plan a good treatment protocol, and maybe a clinical trial will be an option.
