I got the following email from LuAnn's husband this morning:

Hello Vi,

This is LuAnn's husband Tom, I'am writting this to inform you that at 1:30 P.M. on Oct 18 LuAnn went to be with her Lord and Savior. LuAnn had sufferred enough and God put her to rest. It appears as though her last minute may have been very peaceful, and that is what I want to believe. Thank You for beening her friend,

I remember Lu Anne particularly well for her picture with cat (I love cats) and her post about her anniversary dinner and sleep over with friends. I had no idea she was failing and feel very sad to know that she's gone. My deep sympathies to her family.

Thanks for keeping us posted about this loss for us here at the site. She will surely be sadly missed by my husband and I. I am sending my very deep sympathies to all her family and friends who loved LuAnn.

Lu Ann was such a fighter and always encouraging. Prayers for her family, including the one on this forum, she will be missed.

God Bless you Tom for letting us know about Lu Ann at such a very difficult time in your life. She will be so very missed by us. We fought for each other, argued with each other, but most of all loved each other like sisters. May God touch you with peace and let you know how very much we care. Mary Anne
