PET scan results in, still negative!
I finally got my PET scan done. It has been delayed twice already. I was in it when it quit 3 weeks ago. Then they had to cancel my next appt. because it wasn't fixed. I finally had it yesterday. They called today and told me it was normal. I haven't had one since May and even though all the other tests have been negative I have been worried. To go from what appeared to be stage 4 to NED in two months and have the tests stay negative since May is a miracle to me. I will try to remember this through all of the aches and pains and fatigue. And mood swings. It is worth it and I feel very blessed.

Leslie,
i am so happy for you. What an agonizing wait though. Sounds like something that would happen to me- the machine quitting in the middle of the scan!!! I'm so glad the wait was worth it! Love, Kelly |

I have been painting all off and on all day. It is a painting of pears, the name of it is Balancing Act. I am beginning to get used to the Tamoxifen. The first couple of days I was so fatigued. I don't know if it was the leftover yuck from the Femara or if it was the Tamoxifen but I felt like I had been hit by the proverbial mac truck. It just feels good to get good news and have one more thing done with for now. I am in the process of changing clinics and I am a little nervous over that. thanks for all of your prayers and support.
