Brain MRI - Chest CT Results
 

Well, I got the results of my brain MRI and chest CT today. The MRI is clear -- no cancer!!! The chest CT showed improvement - less nodules and the ones that are still there are smaller than before! This is great news. Plan is to continue on the Taxol/Carboplatin (3 weeks on 1 week off) for another 3 months and then rescan.

REALLY WONDERFUL NEWS, Kate!

Guess it is true that if the treatment is hard on you, it is hard on the cancer. Even if you miss a week there is still plenty of drug in you whacking away at the cancer, as the half life is more than one week.

What good, good new! Sorry about the low counts, that's something I have battled with during some of my chemo combo's; I've found that eventually my counts sometimes stabilize after a few months, so will be hoping that will be the case for you.
